“全面推進中國式現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)”經(jīng)濟形勢系列報告會第四場報告會1月9日在京舉行，商務(wù)部部長王文濤在會上作了專題報告。王文濤指出，我國外貿(mào)實現(xiàn)跨越式發(fā)展，穩(wěn)居全球第一貨物貿(mào)易大國，正在向貿(mào)易強國目標(biāo)穩(wěn)步邁進。

China will make dedicated efforts to turn the country into a trader of quality, as part of its efforts to achieve Chinese modernization, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao said on Tuesday in Beijing.

商務(wù)部部長王文濤1月9日在北京表示，中國將致力于建設(shè)貿(mào)易強國，為實現(xiàn)中國式現(xiàn)代化貢獻力量。

China's foreign trade has navigated in a downward pressure and displayed a remarkable resilience since 2023, as highlighted by stable import and export volumes, steady international market share, optimized trading structure and a diversified range of trading partners, Wang said at the fourth session of the symposium themed "Comprehensively Advancing Chinese Modernization".

王文濤在“全面推進中國式現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)”經(jīng)濟形勢系列報告會第四場報告會上指出，2023年以來，我國外貿(mào)頂住下行壓力，進出口規(guī)模和國際市場份額總體穩(wěn)定，結(jié)構(gòu)更加優(yōu)化，伙伴更加多元，充分彰顯了強大韌性。

China's foreign trade has achieved significant leaps and bounds, securing its position as the world's top trading nation and steadily advancing towards its goal of becoming a trade powerhouse, Wang added.

王文濤指出，我國外貿(mào)實現(xiàn)跨越式發(fā)展，穩(wěn)居全球第一貨物貿(mào)易大國，正在向貿(mào)易強國目標(biāo)穩(wěn)步邁進。

While acknowledging risks and challenges, such as sluggish external demand, it's equally important to understand that the economic fundamentals that will sustain long-term growth remain unchanged, Wang said. While having a robust production capacity, vast innovation opportunities, massive market size, and well-developed infrastructure, China possesses comprehensive advantages that provide strong support for the development of foreign trade, Wang said.

王文濤指出，既要看到外部需求低迷等風(fēng)險挑戰(zhàn)，更要看到我國經(jīng)濟長期向好的基本面沒有改變，具有強大生產(chǎn)能力、廣闊創(chuàng)新空間、超大規(guī)模市場、完善基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施等綜合優(yōu)勢，對外貿(mào)發(fā)展形成有力支撐。

The nation is confident, well-prepared, and determined to take new strides toward promoting high-quality trade on a higher ground, Wang added.

王文濤表示，我們有能力、有底氣、有信心在更高水平上推動貿(mào)易高質(zhì)量發(fā)展邁出新步伐。

Going forward, China will ramp up efforts to expand its high-level opening-up, cultivate new drivers of foreign trade and deepen international economic cooperation, Wang said, noting that more steps will be adopted to boost trade in intermediate goods, trade in services, digital trade and cross-border e-commerce.

王文濤還表示，中國將擴大高水平對外開放，積極培育外貿(mào)新動能，深化國際經(jīng)貿(mào)合作，拓展中間品貿(mào)易、服務(wù)貿(mào)易、數(shù)字貿(mào)易、跨境電商出口。
